Cersei Lannister Sells Sherman Oaks Stronghold For $2.05mm

Lena Headey, perhaps better known to the public as Cersei Lannister, recently sold her Sherman Oaks home for $2.05mm.  Originally purchased in 2014 for $790,000, the home was recently listed for $1.945mm, and subsequently sold for over $100,000 above list price at $2.05mm.

The home was originally built in 1951, but was remodeled after Queen Cersei Lannister acquired it in 2014.  The home itself is almost 3,000 square feet, with five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.  It sits on a lot of almost 7,000 square feet, with a spacious front yard and a large salt water pool in the backyard.  The interior of the home was tastefully remodeled to retain original details like high, beamed ceilings. At the same time, it was upgraded to add large windows and sliding glass doors, oak floors, and a beautiful brick living room fireplace.  The property sat on the market for only two weeks before going into escrow.

According to the New York Times, Lena has lived in Los Angeles for 12 years, and is now relocating her family to a small town 180 miles northwest of London.  The move comes after a divorce and a subsequent engagement a few years later.
