If you have ever dreamed of living in a Disneyland resort-style community, you will soon have that opportunity via Disneyland’s recently announced Storyliving by Disney communities. Disney will be developing its first Storyliving community, called Cortino, in the Rancho Mirage area of Palm Springs, where it will offer condos and single family homes for sale in a Disneyland community.
The project will include not only condos and single family homes for purchase, but is also zoned to include a hotel, dining, shopping, and entertainment like concerts, performances, and more. The center of the resort will include a 24-acre “grand oasis” including “the clearest turquois waters” with “Crystal lagoons.” Purchasing a property will come with the option to purchase membership to an oasis clubhouse, an exclusive members-only beach and recreational water activity area, and other entertanment throughout the area. The oasis will also be accessible to the public via day passes.
The project was designed by Disney imagineers and will be managed by Disney cast members. It is currently being developed and built by Scottsdale-based DMB Development. The website for the Storyliving by Disney project can be found here.
