LeBron James Acquires $21m Brentwood Mansion
LeBron James is making moves off the basketball court with his recent acquisition of what can only be described as a mansion in Brentwood for $20,986,500.00.
The 9,440 square foot home was originally built in 2011 and designed by architect Ken Ungar. The property also includes an enormous pool, a cabana, two backyard patios, a deck, and a “small” yard. The property was not publicly listed on the Multiple Listing Service, and so additional publicly available information is limited, but based on prior listings the property is known to contain a modest six bedrooms, including a lavish master bedroom with a dual-sided fireplace, marble bathroom, and private terrace.
Additional photos are available at the LA Times and Curbed LA websites.
The newly purchased property adds to LeBron James’s already significant real estate holdings. In fact, his new Brentwood home is not even half the size of his complex in Akron, Ohio. That property, purchased when LeBron James was only 18 and worth a measly $9.2 million, boasts a 30,000 square foot home with six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, six half bathrooms, a recording studio, a bowling alley, a personal movie theater, a barbershop, and more. Additional photos of that home can be found here.
