In light of the recent Los Angeles fires, we are offering access to an MLS search tool for free to our clients. The search tool, with additional instructions, can be found below.
One of the primary benefits of utilizing the MLS search tool, as opposed to third-party sites like Zillow or Craigslist, is that the information is inputted exclusively by licensed and regulated agents. This insures a minimal possibility of fraud or scams, which are prevalent on other third-party sites. Additionally, third-party sites often source their information from the MLS, meaning that their information is not necessarily up-to-date. Obtaining information directly from the MLS insures that you are accessing the most recent and accurate information available.
Without further ado, the search tool is immediately below. Additional instructions are available below the map.
To Search For Rentals Using The MLS Search Tool
In the top-left location box, entire your desired areas by city/area name, zip code, school district, etc. Make sure “Status” is set to “Active” in order to search currently available properties.
In order to search for rentals, confirm that “Lease” is checked under “Property Type”. If you’d like to restrict your search to only “Single Family Homes” or only “Condos”, this is also the place where you may restrict your search accordingly. Set your desired preferences under “Price”, “Bed & Bath”, and any other desired search preferences.
On the map, use the “CTRL” button on your keyboard to zoom in/out of your desired neighborhood. If you prefer a list view of available properties, as opposed to the map view, click on the “Results” tab above the map.
To Search For Properties Available For Sale Using The MLS Search Tool
Use the same search instructions as above, but do not check “Lease” under “Property Type”. This will show properties available for sale based on your inputted search parameters.
